Our IPL Vascular Treatment uses advanced Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology to reduce the appearance of visible dilated capillaries and facial redness safely and effectively.

This non-ablative procedure works by targeting haemoglobin, the oxygen-carrying pigment in red blood cells. When the haemoglobin absorbs the light energy, it generates heat within the targeted blood vessels. This heat causes thermal damage to the vessel walls, leading to coagulation of the blood and destruction of the vessel.

The body’s natural healing response then clears away the damaged vessels through the lymphatic system. Over time, the vascular lesions fade as the treated vessels are reabsorbed. It’s important to note that because the body may attempt to heal or re-establish the traumatised vessels, some may shrink or reappear within 7–14 days post-treatment.

For best results, we recommend a course of 2–4 treatments at 1–2 week intervals, depending on the severity of the condition and individual response. Maintenance treatments every 3–6 months may be beneficial to preserve your results.
